This green 50 trillion Zimbabwean dollar banknote is a specimen of the 50 trillion dollar note that was introduced in 2009 as a response to the extreme hyperinflation experienced in the country. The obverse side of the note features the Chiremba Balancing Rocks in Epworth, the stylized grain and cow underprint, and the optically variable Zimbabwe bird. The reverse side of the coin shows a trumpeting elephant and the Kariba Dam on Zambezi River. Although the note does not have a security thread nor a watermark, it has a 3-mm gold-to-green optically variable ink stripe with repeating RBZ and an AA0000000 serial number.
