The issuance of larger dominations, even reaching 100 billion dollars at one point, was largely due to the unremitting decline of the new currencys value. Each note is set apart mostly by different color schemes, denominations, and reverse side designs. Some are larger in size, but majority of the notes measure 148 x 74 mm. The 3 highest denominations in this 32-piece set are from the Special Agro-Cheques released in 2008, which were initially proposed for the special use of Zimbabwean farmers, but eventually got mixed into circulation as inflation sustained.
